Here at Steven R Paterson’s we are now happy to quote for and install solar water heating systems. This involves connectors being placed on the roof, or if need be the wall, of the house, to maximize potential sunlight. Therefore, individual performance will depend on how directly the sun hits your home.

Having performed both domestic and commercial installations at sites across Orkney we are able to install in new builds and ‘retro-fits’, from single to multi panel systems. Solar water heating systems should be used as an additional source or in conjunction with a back up heating system as there will not be sufficient sunlight during the winter months from solar heating only.

We hope to have our MCS accreditation complete later this year, allowing us to become MCS approved installers.
